Board Member Jennifer Williamson receives Portland Business Journal's "40 Under 40" award
State Schools Superintendent Susan Castillo announced that Jennifer Williamson, Public Affairs Manager at the Oregon Department of Education and NLO Board member, was among 40 individuals selected for The Portland Business Journal’s "40 Under 40" Award. Award winners are recognized as the 40 most accomplished, influential and civic-minded young executives in Portland. At the Department of Education, Williamson leads legislative affairs, internal and external communications, and the Oregon Virtual School District. -
Founding Board Member and Previous Board Chair Sue Hildick honored by College of Urban and Public Affairs
The College of Urban and Public Affairs at PSU will honor Sue Hildick for extensive and distinguished service to the college at our hooding ceremony on June 13. Sue is the president of the Chalkboard Project, an independent non-profit organization working to improve Oregon's K-12 public schools. Sue was a founding board member of our NEW Leadership Oregon program and has served as board chair for the past two years. Sue's tireless efforts on the board have contributed greatly to the program's success.
